130!

After a minor (okay, major) setback last week, I'm back on track with my weight loss. We went to a wedding on Saturday night and I *thought* I was being healthy by covering my plate with steamed veggies and chicken, until I started eating the veggies and realized that they had been marinated in butter...and the chicken was stuffed with some sort of artichoke fatty stuffing.

I woke up Sunday feeling awful and bloated. I've completely cut out all fats, oils, sugars, and most carbs from my diet. We went to brunch on Sunday morning and I started with fruits and then I saw a potato dish and it went all downhill from there. Next thing I knew I was shoving cinnamon rolls and mini pumpkin pies into my mouth as fast as I could.

When I woke up on Monday, I was back up to 133-134 pounds (from being down to 129). I was really pissed at myself because I had been counting my calories all week and exercising and then I undid all of my hard work in a matter of an hour. I've realized that I need to start being more realistic about my eating habits, and to allow myself to eat *unhealthy* things every once in a while, in moderation, to avoid huge binge eating fests.

Here is to hoping that I can handle Thanksgiving dinner.
