Wedding Stationery

My future sister in law, Sarah, recently posted on her blog (purplecatsandjumpingjacks.blogspot.com) some pictures of the invitations that she has recently designed for our wedding. She blurred out all of the personal invitation, so I am stealing the pictures that she uploaded onto her blog and posting them on here.

Here is a sample of what our wedding invitation looks like:

The main invitation went inside a metallic light silver pocket fold, with a pink mat behind the pocket fold. Inside the pocket fold, we had the response cards and direction cards cascading each other. Here is what it looks like assembled:

Then she designed my bridal shower invitations, using the same pink and gray color scheme from the wedding invitations. I loved them!

THEN she designed our rehearsal dinner invitations, using a design we had originally considered for our wedding invitations:

She has even customized some thank you cards for me that use the same design as the invitations, and escort cards for our wedding reception to tell people which table they are at. (Those are still at the printer- can't wait to see them!)

One last thing that I forgot to mention is that Oakville's Academic Quiz Bowl team competed at Districts on Saturday at Festus High School against Webster Groves, Festus, Nerinx, Cor Jesu, and Seckman and we got first place at Districts (by a landslide!) We are on our way to Sectionals on Thursday at Cape Girardeau against Cape Central High School. If we beat them, we go to state competitions on Saturday May 7 at Mizzou!
