Wedding Jewelry

After a few weeks of agonizing over what jewelry I would wear with my wedding dress, I finally selected a set through glamgal.com. (I am not even going to admit how many hours I spent on google search looking at bridal jewelry...it became an obsession.) I sent Drew the link of the set that I wanted for Christmas, since he has no idea what my dress looks like.



I finally got it today! It had apparently came in the mail LAST WEEK and Drew hid it from me- even though it was my Christmas present. You know, that holiday that happened several weeks ago. He said that he wanted to wrap it properly, which is why he kept it from me.

I knew that he had ordered it before Christmas so I was starting to wonder where it was. So I went on their website and contacted them asking about the status of the delivery. They said that it had been delivered last week. I started panicking because we never received the package, and they have a policy that states that they do not replace items that get lost in the mail.

I drove all the way to the post office today and gave them the tracking number for the package, and they said that they "didn't know what to tell me" because their computer system said that it had been delivered last week. I said that I don't know how it can be considered "delivered" when I. Have. Not. Received. It.

I get home and explain to Drew the situation of arguing with the post office for almost twenty minutes and then he sheepishly disappeared in the bedroom and came out holding a package.

I almost smacked a ho. I'm just saying.

But I love my jewelry! I can't wait to try it on with my dress this weekend when I get my fitting!
